As promised last year, MS has released the Service Pack 3 for Exchange Server 2010 today, the same is available to download at the Download  Center. Download - Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 3 (SP3) Main attraction of this service pack are, - Coexistence with Exchange 2013: - As we know, there are some pre-requisites to introduce Exchange Server 2013 to our existing Exchange Server 2010 infra, which is shipped with this update. - Support for Windows Server 2012: - Now with SP3, we can install Exchange Server 2010 on a Windows Server 2012 operating system. Microsoft Exchange CXP team has released the following updates, Update Rollup 5-v2 for Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 2 Update Rollup 8 for Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 1 Update Rollup 9 for Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 3 See Microsoft Security Bulletin MS12-080 - Critical which covers all the three updates, and as stated it is security updates and hence available thorugh the windows update list. MS has announced today that he availability of Microsoft Office 2013 for the business customer. The business customers can now purchase the new version of Office (MS Office 2013) suites, applications etc through the volume licensing program. It is not limited to MS office 2013; they also can get Exchange Server 2013, Lync Server 2013, SharePoint Server 2013, Project 2013 and Visio 2013. According to the available information, the general availability of these products will be by Q1 of year 2013, more specifically by end of January 2013. -Praveen

A good news, Exchange Server 2013 is now reached to it’s RTM version from Preview. Wait, it is one of the major milestones of this product is reached. Now MS is working on releasing the new Exchange via multiple distribution channels to our business customers. General availability is planned for the first quarter of 2013, whereas MS informs that Volume Licensing customers with Software Assurance will be able to download Exchange Server 2013 through the Volume Licensing Service Center by mid-November. Just a month away, isn’t it a great news? MS also informs the that new versions of office, Lync and SharePoint are also reached RTM. MS has recently announced that the Exchange 2010 SP3 is expected to be available by the first half of year 2013, which will be shipped mainly with the below additional support, Coexistence with Exchange Server 2013: - As we all know, the current released exchange 2010 does not have the support for the coexistence with Exchange 2013 server. So if you wish to introduce the Exchange 2013 into your Exchange 2010 infra, you need to have the SP3 installed. Support for Windows Server 2012:- You can plan the installation of Exchange 2010 (currently it supported on Windows 2008) on Windows 2012 server with the SP3 version.
